Our Work

Burton and District Stroke club was set up in 1975 with the aim of helping stroke survivors throughout the Burton and South Derbyshire area. Over the past 45 years we have done this through our regular meetings, outings and annual holiday.
In 2014 we were recognised for our work by being named the Stroke associations Stroke group of the year and have since been recognised as the longest running Stroke group in the country.
Through our 45 years we have always kept the same ethos and aim of supporting the stroke affected and their families through social interaction.
